FAQs

Q. What is Cold Brew?

A. Cold brew is coffee brewed using cold water versus hot, typically done by steeping coffee grounds in cold water for 12-24 hours. This results in a smoother less acidic coffee.

Q. Why NITRO?

A. When coffee is infused with nitrogen, the results are amazing. Compared to traditional cold brew, a nitrogen infusion creates a naturally sweet, smooth, and creamy texture for an unforgettable drinking experience. Think Guinness but with coffee!

Q. What kind of coffee do you use?

A. We use Certified Organic & Fair-Trade, Single Origin beans for each of our coffee products.

Q. What’s the caffeine content of your coffee products?

A. Our Cold Brew Coffee products have 220mg of caffeine and our Cold-Brewed Espresso products have 180mg of caffeine.

Q. What is the difference between your Cold Brew Coffee products and your Cold-Brewed Espresso products?

A. Our Cold Brew Coffee is made by steeping lightly roasted beans for about 24 hours whereas our Cold-Brewed Espresso is made by steeping espresso roasted beans for over 24 hours to achieve a stronger cold brew.

Q. Why do I need to keep your products refrigerated?

A. We choose not to pasteurize our products because we take pride in the process and sourcing the freshest ingredients. Pasteurization requires ultra-high temperatures which destroy flavor and nutrients just to make products shelf-stable. Our coffee is brewed cold, shipped cold and enjoyed cold for maximum freshness!
